At Sew Impress Me, we believe that history, culture, and legacy are not just moments in time—they are a continuous journey. While some may claim that identity celebrations are fading, Black History Month remains as important as ever for those who live it daily. Although I did not pledge Greek or attend a HBCU, I have deep respect for the traditions, achievements, and lifelong impact they hold. Black fraternities, sororities, and HBCUs have shaped generations of leaders, scholars, and changemakers.
